What attracted you to Sequent?
I joined Sequent after nearly 20 years of leadership roles with a Fortune 500 company. I joined Sequent when the organization was just over a year old. Even then, I could see that the vision that AGL had for Sequent was a good one. In addition, the small group of people assembled at Sequent was solid, experienced and qualified. That is what has kept me attracted to Sequent over the past four years. I have had the opportunity to watch our company grow while it has maintained the same values, remained clearly focused on getting result for our company and our clients, and continued to attract the very best player in our industry.
I lead Sequent’s origination activities and work with my team of 5 professionals to offer energy products and services to clients, including utilities, power plants, municipalities, industrials, retail aggregators and other industry counterparties.
When you are in sales, the most rewarding part of your job is when you offer a service and/or commodity that benefits the customer and achieves accretive results for your company. Sequent has a great team of professionals that work hard every day to satisfy client needs and create stakeholder value. Working with my team, meeting with clients and selling our company’s skills and services are the best parts of my job.
I have over twenty five (25) years of energy industry experience. Nearly all of those 25 I have, either directly or in leadership roles, concentrated on marketing, sales and customer service - in both the regulated and deregulated arenas. Prior to Sequent I was with Coastal Gas Marketing, Columbia Energy Services and Columbia Gas Transmission.
Without a doubt, the best part about Sequent is the people. Everyone here is smart, results oriented, focused, team-centric and a lot of fun.
