Mark R. Homestead

Senior Vice President, Trading & Marketing

Mark R. Homestead joined Sequent Energy Management as manager, transportation and exchange in December, 2003. He currently leads Sequent’s trading and marketing team covering the Mid-continent, West and Canadian geographical areas. Mr. Homestead also oversees the operations of the scheduling department. He is focused on increasing Sequent’s footprint and asset holdings while ensuring the delivery of natural gas to our customers across North America.

Mr. Homestead has 31 years experience in the oil and gas industry, with the last 21 being directly related to natural gas operations, trading and marketing. 

Prior to joining Sequent, Mr. Homestead served as regional manager for the Mid-continent region with Duke Energy’s trading and marketing organization. He has also held various operation, marketing, business development, and management positions over a 17 year career at Amoco Production Company.

Mr. Homestead is a graduate of Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado and resides with his wife Sharon in Katy, Texas.
